What's an «Imker», you ask? A beekeeper! Just a few years ago, beekeeping was kind of an unknown hobby for charming eccentrics. Today, the public has become painfully aware that bees are pretty important. For that delicious honey, sure, but also for that little detail of actually keeping our entire ecosystem in balance. No pressure, bees! Still, it's obvious, then: beekeepers are basically the new superheroes. Let's all bow down to the mighty bee-people: helping to save the world one hive at a time.

The beauty of wood as an original material is stunning. To give the product the attention it deserves, each of our frames is handmade. More than twenty layers of veneer provide for extraordinary stability. EINSTOFFEN started with wood, we put our heart and soul into these frames. Our wooden frames were able to win a total of four German Design Awards in 2018 and 2019
